Within a year of being outside, the base layers were pulling apart and rotting. Very disappointing. The roof’s have not held up well either. I’d like to work up to building my own that will actually last. Thanks for the info.

I have recently come into a big pile of rough cut cedar from a neighbor across the road. He won’t let me pay him anything for it. That’s just him. He has a small area in his backyard that has a small swampy area that spawns so many mosquitoes that they can’t sit outside. So I’m going to build them a purple Martin hotel. Thanks for the help.
